American Water’s Fourth Quarter and Year-End Earnings Conference Call Scheduled for February 26, 2009

American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE:AWK) announced today that it intends to release its fourth quarter and year-end financial results after the market closes on Wednesday, February 25, 2009.

Donald L. Correll, president and chief executive officer, and Ellen C. Wolf, senior vice president and chief financial officer, will host a conference call and audio webcast with investors, analysts and other interested parties on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
