Dividend Dates and Distribution Amounts Announced for Certain BlackRock Closed-End Funds

The BlackRock closed-end funds listed below (the “Funds”) announced today their dividend dates and distributions.

BlackRock S&P Quality Rankings Global Equity Managed Trust (AMEX:BQY) is the only fund to announce a dividend reduction. This reduction takes into account the Fund’s earnings potential and net asset value decline in light of the current market environment for equities. In addition, BQY will begin utilizing an option-writing strategy on up to 20% of the value of its portfolio securities in an attempt to better meet its investment objective of providing total return through a combination of current income and capital appreciation. BQY utilizes a level distribution policy.

*In order to comply with the requirements of Section 19 of the Investment Company Act of 1940, as amended, each of the Funds noted above posted to the DTC bulletin board and sent to their shareholders as of the applicable record date a Section 19 notice with the previous dividend payment. The Section 19 notice was provided not for tax reporting purposes but for informational purposes only.
