Viewpoint: The state's charitable deduction in effect — and needed

The CEO of the Mass. Nonprofit Network writes, "Five years ago, more than 600,000 Massachusetts residents lost their tax deduction for charitable contributions. Thanks to a state law that took effect Jan. 1, that will be reversed — and more."
