AMC takes advantage of pandemic to expand presence in one notable city: Tinseltown

The shuttering of ArcLight and Pacific movie theaters put a dozen cinemas and 400,000 square feet of real estate on the market in Los Angeles. AMC became one of the first movers when it snapped up two flagship theaters.
