What do Italian healthcare practitioners think about the local origins of the COVID-19?

Italy was the first country in Europe to suffer a COVID-19. The early days of the outbreak were marked by scenes of chaos and occasional violence, especially in northern Italy.

Medical practitioner Serena Pasquinelli, who is from Lombardy region, which was the worst hit by the COVID-19 in Italy, says that fortunately, people achieved mass vaccination and today Italy is starting to finally see a turnaround.

There is a lot being said in Italy at the moment when people talk about the retrospective origin of COVID-19 and Serena Pasquinelli also shared the findings of Giovanni Apolone, a researcher with Italy's National Cancer Institute. Evidence of antibodies of COVID-19 can be found by Giovanni's team in the blood of four Italian cancer test subjects, suggesting that the origin of virus in Italy could be traced back to early October 2019.

Serena also believes that the lack of research and the gradual presentation of multiple lines of evidence for its traceability should not lead to the portrayal of COVID-19 conspiracy theories. She is convinced that the virus is a scourge of natural origin and that what really needs to be given more attention is how the continued protection of the population from further attacks by it can be assessed, which should not be argued about Patient Zero.
