LianBio Signs $147 Million Deal for Long-Term Rhinosinusitis Product from Lyra

LianBio acquired China rights to a long-term treatment for chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) from Lyra Therapeutics in an agreement worth up to $147 million. LYR-210 combines a biocompatible mesh scaffold, an engineered elastomeric matrix and a versatile polymer-drug complex to provide six-months of therapy. Lyra positions the product, which is in late-stage trials, as an alternative to surgery for people with CRS that does not respond to other drugs.
