Kevin Forrest of Hustler For Life Magazine joins cast of MsDevotedTiff Production’s “Love Letter To My Hue” produced by content creator Tiffany Wright to combat colorism in mainstream media

Speaking on his involvement with the project, Kevin Forrest had this to say, "It is an honor to be a part of a project that goes against the general negative representation of darker complected women in society, especially media. Too often the media portrays darker women as being less appealing. It was good to have a role in something that celebrates the beauty and grace of women of a darker hue."
In regards to her motivation on producing the project, Tiffany Wright of MsDevotedTiff Productions said, "I wanted to use my talent as a creative to put together a beautiful piece of work specifically celebrating my own hue, so that I could ensure there is something out in the universe that darker-skinned little girls or even adults, could refer to whenever they want to feel celebrated in visual form. There are many visuals that celebrate the beauty of lighter skinned women, and they are indeed beautiful. There's no hate or competition behind my work. I wanted to do my part to bring more balance and counteract the effects of colorism. Instead of just complaining that darker skin women are disproportionately underrepresented in music videos, media and the entertainment industry as a whole, I wanted to take action."
Love Letter To My Hue premiered on May 20, 2021, and is currently streaming worldwide on MsDevotedTiff YouTube.
