GLENVIEW, Ill., April 28, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- As states continue to relax COVID-19 related restrictions, Beltone announced today it will incorporate Clorox® products into its existing cleaning protocols at participating locations in North America to help provide what the company likes to call a "safe & sound" environment for in-person hearing care. It's just another step the nation's leading hearing care retailer is taking to provide all hearing centers the resources needed to deliver a safer hearing care experience.Beltone enhances "safe &; sound" locations as people being to schedule in-person hearing appointments again.

Especially since a majority of our patients are older adults, who are at a higher risk of developing serious complications if exposed to the COVID-19 virus," said Beltone President Mike Halloran. Halloran says Clorox products will now be used to regularly clean and disinfect participating Beltone locations across the country. Products such as Clorox Disinfecting Wipes and Clorox Hand Sanitizer will be used throughout offices to help minimize the spread of germs. Additionally, Beltone will continue to follow proper Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance and procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
