WAX will mint Weezer NFTs, which will be a proof-of-stake blockchain that uses vastly less energy and is more than 100,000 times more efficient than other proof-of-work methods. Expectations are high for this offering, as similar WAX sales in the past have seen impressive popularity, often selling out in minutes. “OK Crypto” NFTS will be released at 1 p.m. ET today, with 10-card standard packs available for $10; 25-card mega packs will be $40. The cards can be traded and swapped on the WAX-powered marketplace, where all transactions are recorded on the blockchain.
