Airvet pledges support to Not One More Vet for month of April to help raise awareness and fight suicide
(PRUnderground) April 14th, 2021
In honor of World Veterinary Day, Airvet has announced they will be focusing on veterinary mental health and showing support to the veterinary community by donating to Not One More Vet to help fight suicide and raise awareness this April.
World Veterinary Day is April 24, but Airvet’s offer is good throughout the entire month of April.
To give back, Airvet, the #1-rated telehealth software application for both veterinarians and pet parents in the U.S. and Canada, has pledged to donate $10 for each veterinary hospital or clinic that receives a demo for their software in the month of April to NOMV.
Additionally, for every contract signed between Airvet and a veterinary practice during the month of April, 100 percent of the first month’s subscription fees will be contributed to NOMV.org. NOMV is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to transforming that status of mental wellness within the veterinary profession. To help in Airvet’s donation cause and book a demo, please visit airvet.com/worldveterinaryday before April 30th.
“Growing up with a veterinarian for a father, I know firsthand just how thankless the job can be sometimes, but also know that those who become veterinarians are the most selfless and altruistic humans,” said Brandon Werber, CEO of Airvet. “At Airvet, we celebrate the veterinarians who we are humbled by and grateful to work with every day, as they deserve to be honored more. With the increasing number of veterinary suicides plaguing our industry, it’s even more crucial to thank your vet next time you see them and tell them how much you appreciate them. That’s why we felt compelled to support Not One More Vet this month, an organization that provides support to practitioners and veterinary students who are struggling or considering suicide. The veterinary industry needs all the support they can get from organizations like them.”
