Hewlett Packard Enterprise Welcomes Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Investor Relations

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE) today announced Sonalee Parekh as the company’s new senior vice president of corporate development and investor relations, reporting to HPE chief financial officer Tarek Robbiati, effective immediately.

Parekh will lead HPE’s corporate development and investor relations teams and oversee critical growth initiatives, including merger and acquisition (M&A) plans globally. Parekh will serve as a key member of the finance executive team and advisor to the CFO.

“Sonalee is an accomplished and passionate leader who knows what it takes to drive innovation and growth,” said Robbiati. “Her broad experience advising global technology, media and telecommunications enterprises, as well as her deep financial expertise make her uniquely suited to help accelerate HPE’s pivot to an as-a-Service company to drive profitable, sustainable growth.”

Vishal Bhagwati, currently senior vice president of corporate development, will take on a new role as chief financial officer of HPE’s newly created High Performance Compute and Mission Critical Systems (HPC & MCS) unit within HPE’s Hybrid IT business, reporting to Robbiati.

Reporting to Parekh, Andy Simanek, vice president and head of investor relations, will continue in his current role and remain the primary contact for HPE’s financial analysts and investors.
