This cast aluminum enclosure is designed for use indoors and outdoors and to hold electrical equipment up to 18” by 36” by 8” in size.
The EPL-AEB-18.36.8-BP explosion proof enclosure is made of cast aluminum with steel bolts and a weatherproof gasket for a NEMA 3R and NEMA 4 protection rating. This enclosure is NEMA 7 (Groups B, C and D) and NEMA 9 (Groups E, F and G) rated as well. This device is also rated for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C and D; Class I, Zones 1 and 2, Groups IIB+H2 and IIA; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations.
