Who Is DNAtix?

DNAtix, aims to harness Blockchain technology by creating a platform for storing, transmitting and deciphering Genetic testing, in a completely anonymous manner.

The two Co-Founders, Ofer Lidsky and Tal Sins, friends since childhood, took different life pathways eventually teaming up to bring a wide range of skills and knowledge to scale and move their company DNAtix to its anticipated future success. Ofer Lidsky, the company's CEO is a serial entrepreneur with a number of successful IT related businesses.  Dr. Tal Sines holds a PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science, in Molecular Genetics and is also a certified Patent Attorney.

The company has undergone a number of incarnations since its commencement in 2008, with innovations happening in both technology and science. DNAtix is now changing the face of Genetics with its novel platform, aligned with Blockchain technology.  Additionally, it is focused on forming various business collaborations in the field of personalized medicine, specifically in the areas of nutrition and Genetic diagnosis of diseases.

The new DNAtix platform will enable customers to upload their Genetic code after partial or full sequencing. It will enable users in conduct diverse Genetic tests for the benefit of humankind and for improvement of life quality.

It is anticipated that with the increased advancements in Science and the amount of Genetic and medical data that will become available, more tests will be added to the resources available to DNAtix company customers.

According to the Co-Founders, the world of Genetics is facing disruption. Why? Two factors are driving this. Firstly with the completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003, (a project that sequenced the human genome over its three billion bases), the prices for reading a full human genome have drastically declined. Costs for Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) is about $ 1,000 however "the cost of whole-genome sequencing is expected to drop to about $100 in the near future and be completed within a few hours," explains Dr. Tal Sines, DNAtix's Chief Scientific Officer.

Secondly Genetic testing has always been performed in specialized labs based on blood samples and demanding a long timefor analysis and results. This is increasingly being replaced by "at home" Genetic tests that are ordered online, using saliva or buccal swabbing.  Such Genetic tests now cover a variety of conditions, some specifically related to the quality of life of the subject and others covering identifying Genetic risk of  developing a disease.

With the decline in the prices and duration for completing WGS it is expected that Genetic testing based on full DNA sequencing will become a standard in medical health care practices and enable improved wellbeing for all and at any stage of life

The DNAtix Evolution has Commenced

Both Ofer and Tal are often asked, what stage of development are you? How soon will everyone be able to upload their full Genetic sequences to the web in anonymous and secured manner?

In response, to the questions we say, '"we  are closer than ever before. The medical and scientific communities, are in agreement that we will soon see Genetic testing becoming part of regular medical treatment. The DNAtix platform already has its first prototype, as proof of feasibility, and the company has filed its first provisional US application with plans to add additional applications in the near future".

The company is supported by a strong team of legal and accounting firms.  The GKH law firm and the Deloitte accounting firm, and its board of directors and advisory,  with experts from all fields of the company operations, will support the DNAtix technological and business requirements.

Additionally Dr. Ichak Adizes, a world renown expert in organizational management and behavior, with a management methodology named after him, has joined the company as a partner.
