BlackRock Closed-End Funds Announce Changes to their Boards of Directors/Trustees

The BlackRock registered closed-end funds (each a "Fund" and collectively, the "Funds") announced today that Mr. Jerrold B. Harris, as scheduled, retired from his position on the Board of Directors/Trustees (the “Board”) of each Fund on December 31, 2017. In addition, the Funds announced today that, in connection with Mr. Harris' retirement, the Board of each Fund decreased its size from eleven to ten directors/trustees on December 31, 2017.
