American Water Partners with ino3W to Develop New Series of Webinars

American Water (NYSE: AWK), the nation’s largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company, announced today it will partner with ino3W, a global network water technology validation accelerator, in developing a new series of webinars, “The Continuous Quest for disruptive water technologies®”.

The webinar series will be held in different selected countries, known for their accredited water innovation hubs. The planned webinars will bring technologies closer and faster to key global markets which will benefit the entire global water sector.

“These webinars allow American Water to make additional inroads to the latest global technologies,” said Dr. Mark LeChevallier, vice president and chief environmental officer. “Getting the global scientific, industry and entrepreneurship community better acquainted with American Water’s technology and the U.S. municipal water system challenges, will hopefully drive more innovations to benefit American Water and other ino3W partners. Leveraging technology to deliver water and wastewater services in a more efficient and effective way is one of the best ways we can better serve our customers.”

The first webinar is scheduled for May 17, 2016 and will be held in cooperation with the Israel Export Institute with the objective to further advance future cooperation between Israeli-based water technology companies, American Water and additional ino3W partners.

In 2015, American Water became the exclusive U.S. partner to enter into ino3W. As part of ino3W, American Water gains first access in the U.S. to the latest water related technologies to further drive operational efficiency and asset management improvement.
