American Water Integrated in Euronext Vigeo World 120 Index

American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, today announced it has been integrated in the Euronext Vigeo World 120 index, which is comprised of the 120 most advanced companies in the European, North American and Asia Pacific region.

The Euronext Vigeo World 120 index distinguishes companies achieving the most advanced Environmental, Social and Governance performances. Companies included in the index have achieved the highest scores, as determined by the review of up to 330 indicators, assessed by Vigeo within 38 sustainability drivers.
