We are asking the people of Austin to join MCLife in the #CFShoeSelfie movement to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis, the Great Strides walks and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
How does it work? All you need to do is take a selfie of your shoes, anytime, anywhere with the #CFShoeSelfie hashtag along with it. Share it with your friends, family and co-workers across social media to show your support for those living with cystic fibrosis. What is the impact? Posting a #CFShoeSelfie shows the people fighting the disease that they are not alone and that they have support. Cystic fibrosis is a life threatening genetic disease and we believe in finding a cure. The MC Family is personally touched by cystic fibrosis which is why we are getting involved with this fight and the efforts of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Along with our social media campaign, we are taking part in Great Strides walks throughout the country. On Saturday May 16, 2015 we will be participating in Great Strides Austin. These Great Strides walks are the #1 fundraising events for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is helping the 30,000 people living with Cystic Fibrosis in the United States through medical research and the advancement of specialized medical care. They need your help to keep their journey alive and continue their search for a cure.
