#CFShoeSelfie Movement Finds New Life in Houston

By: PRLog
PRLog - March 31, 2015 - SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- In February 2015 MC Companies residential apartment brand MCLife started the #CFShoeSelfie movement to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis and build support for the Great Strides events by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Cystic Fibrosis is a life threatening disease that personally affects the MC family and as a result we are joining Great Strides walks throughout Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma. We will be walking in Great Strides Houston on Saturday May 9, 2015.

The Great Strides walks are the #1 source of fundraising for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and are very important in helping them continue their mission of finding a cure for this awful disease. We are asking you to get involved by joining our Great Strides Houston Team, make a donation, or by walking with us at the event.

You can also pledge your support on social media by becoming active in the #CFShoeSelfie movement. What is a #CFShoeSelfie? A #CFShoeSelfie is exactly what it sounds like: a selfie of your shoes. You can snap a photo of any shoes, in any place, at any time. The goal is to get people posting and talking about cystic fibrosis. You can add your voice to the conversation and make a positive impact on those living with the disease.

MCLife will be walking at Great Strides events in Houston, Austin, Dallas and San Antonio throughout the month of May. The #CFShoeSelfie movement is gaining momentum in Texas and we hope to get as many people involved as we can. You can join any of our teams, make a donation or learn more about the fight here. We hope you can get behind this great cause, show your support and help us say ‘goodbye’ to cystic fibrosis. We will see you in Houston on Saturday May 9, 2015.
