PRLog - March 11, 2015 - SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Even if you do not want to admit it, you have probably taken a selfie. In reality, you probably have an assortment of selfies in your phone. Since we are all taking selfies anyway, why not take one to promote a good cause? That is what MCLife, the residential apartment brand of MC Companies, is asking you to do with the #CFShoeSelfie movement. We want you to take a #CFShoeSelfie to show your support for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
What is a #CFShoeSelfie? A #CFShoeSelfie can be a picture of any shoe, anywhere, anytime. The goal is to spread awareness about cystic fibrosis and the Great Stride events that raise funds for medical research. You can also donate to a Great Strides team or walk with us at a Great Stride event. MCLife will be walking in four Great Strides events throughout Texas during May. Our first Texas walk will be on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in San Antonio. We invite anyone and everyone to donate, pledge and join our team.
There are nearly 30,000 people living with Cystic Fibrosis in the United States; cystic fibrosis is a life threatening disease that damages the lungs and digestive system of those affected by it. By pledging your support, you are giving these people a better tomorrow and inspiring others with hope. Annually, the Great Strides events are the number one source of funds raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. These walks are vital in keeping the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on their journey and making a positive impact.
We ask you to add your voice to the conversation. You can make a difference simply by posting a photo, making a donation or walking with us. Together we can help the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation continue with their mission to enhance the lives of those with cystic fibrosis through medical research and the development of specialized healthcare. Even if you do not know somebody suffering from the illness, it is important to show your support and be an advocate for those who are sick.
