Standard Register Examines Business Costs, Productivity Issues Associated With Enterprise Document Management

To help organizations get a more complete picture of company-wide printing in order to control spending and improve business performance, Standard Register (NYSE:SR) has made available a series of white papers addressing enterprise document management. Standard Register is a leading provider of document and print management services.

The white paper series, which addresses the general business market as well as the healthcare, financial and manufacturing industries, examines the importance of documents in the corporate environment and provides vivid detail around consequences that can follow as a result of document mismanagement. Each white paper in the series looks at several key factors in the document and print management process that can help make or break an enterprise operation, including cost of ownership, enterprise print environments, document output, and business process improvement.

Many companies dont have a clear or comprehensive understanding of the costs associated with the documents they produce in the course of doing business, said Brad Cates, vice president, sales and marketing, Standard Register. The reason for this is that organizations tend to view document management in a highly fragmented way, often only within a department or function, rather than looking at the process company-wide.

This white paper series examines all aspects of the print supply chain and is geared toward helping organizations view documents and printing as a strategic, rather than tactical activity, Cates continued.

Each of the four white papers in the enterprise document management series is available for download at www.standardregister.com/whitepapers.
