Citibank Appoints Bob Koar as Regional President, U.S. Business & Commercial Banking, Eastern Region

Citibank today announced the appointment of Robert W. Koar as President Eastern Region, U.S. Business & Commercial Banking Group. In this role, Koar is responsible for implementing Citibank’s service and sales strategy for all key commercial banking markets from Boston to Miami.

Koar joined Citibank in 2006 and had most recently been the manager of the Atlantic Division for Business & Commercial Banking since 2009. Prior to joining Citibank, he spent over 25 years at Wachovia and its predecessor First Fidelity, managing its Commercial and Corporate Banking Businesses in New Jersey.

The Eastern region Koar oversees is comprised of Boston, Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
