UPDATE 1-Enbridge Energy Partners Q2 profit lags estimates

July 29 (Reuters) - Oil and gas pipeline operator Enbridge Energy Partners's second-quarter profit lagged estimates, hurt by lower volumes of oil transported through its pipelines, but the company increased its cash distribution by 3.6 percent.
