CollaborateMD, a leading provider of Internet-based ASP practice management and medical billing software for the healthcare industry, announced today the successful first quarter rollout of their courseware version of CollaborateMD (formerly ClaimGear) to Corinthian Colleges Inc.
In 2006 CollaborateMD signed an agreement with McGraw-Hill (NYSE:MHP) to distribute and license a courseware version of CollaborateMD practice management and medical billing software to Corinthian Colleges Inc. (Nasdaq:COCO) for their Medical Billing and Coding Educational Programs.
The courseware version of CollaborateMD is an enhanced version of the Internet-based practice management and medical billing software used by thousands of physicians across the country. Students will enter patients, procedure and diagnosis codes, insurance and patient payments, complete both CMS-1500 and 1450 claims into the system, and be graded for accuracy and completeness. Students have the capability to validate their claims through the Faciledi HIPAA and Payer Validation Engine, a product of Ingenix. This allows students to see real-life errors and problems in their claims based on ANSI, Payer specific, and Correct Coding Initiative (CCI) edits.
CollaborateMD is providing an Instructor Web Portal that allows CCi to manage all aspects of the system. From a single Web Portal the college administrators and instructors can manage campuses, classrooms, courses, instructors, and grading.
