Chile stocks close above 5,000 for first time

SANTIAGO, Nov 8 (Reuters) - Chile's blue-chip IPSA index rose 0.84 percent to close above 5,000 points for the first time ever, boosted by prospects for strong third-quarter earnings, traders said.
