Recession Resister announces a new expansion to its bill negotiation service, Bill Saver, with a particular focus on nurses across the US.
—
The latest move comes following industry reports from Incredible Health, which found that - despite a wage increase of 7% from 2021 to 2022 - nursing income fell after adjusting for inflation. With the ongoing cost of living crisis and rising monthly contract rates, Recession Resister aims to help nurses reduce their outgoing through a fully managed, hands-off solution.

With Bill Saver, nurses just have to upload their monthly contracts through the secure online portal available on the company website. The team has expert negotiators who will then call service providers on clients' behalf, and present reduced-rate contracts within six weeks.
A company representative states: "You’ve called your providers before, and you’ve probably spent plenty of time on hold or being transferred over and over again - and still didn’t get what you needed. We do this all day, every day. We know who to talk to and what to say to get you the absolute best deals available."
Up to 80% of consumers could be overpaying for their monthly bills due to gradual price increases over time, Recession Resister says. As such, the Bill Saver program focuses on identifying potential savings across common household expenses, including cable, phone, internet, and satellite.
For customers in Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island, an energy reduction service is also available, automatically switching clients to cost-competitive energy plans.
There is no upfront cost for the service, and clients only pay when their savings have been confirmed. Recession Resister splits the price reduction, taking 50% of the savings achieved.
The team emphasizes that privacy is key with the service, and all data is securely encrypted - they strictly adhere to a policy of never sharing, renting, or selling clients' personal details.
One recent client said: "I didn’t even realize I could negotiate some of these bills. Bill Saver got me a lower bill for my cable, my internet, my cellphone, and my energy, and I didn’t have to do a thing."
