Born in Guyana, South America, into a Hindu sect, Pastor Singh experienced a profound conversion to Christianity as a child. His unwavering commitment to God’s calling began at 12 when he felt the divine summons to ministry. Since age 18, he has faithfully followed this calling, guiding the Gospel Assembly Church in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and northern New York State.
Joe McCormick is a testament to the transformative power of faith and is a product of Pastor Desmond R. Singh’s Prison Ministry. Following a life-changing encounter with the Lord in April 1997, Joe began the challenging path of discipleship as demanded by Jesus in Matthew 16:24 and taught by his pastor. After nearly 26 years in prison, Joe was released on parole in November 2013 and has since dedicated his life to the church.
