Initially using 4-inch mobile printers, Mustang officers faced challenges printing full-size legal documents in the field. The limitations meant returning to the station for warrants, delaying testing during time-sensitive DUI investigations.

The operation resulted in nine DUI arrests in just two and a half hours, helping officers obtain timely, court-admissible blood test evidence.

In recognition of its win, the Mustang Police Department donated its $500 prize to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Oklahoma as part of its Law Enforcement Recognition Event in Tulsa on September 25, 2025.
