  3. Employment Practices (40/40): Avangrid offers robust benefits, inclusive recruitment practices, and support for employee self-identification.
  4. Community Engagement (10/10): Avangrid actively supports disability-focused organizations and initiatives.
  5. Supplier Inclusion (10/10): Avangrid has expanded its supplier diversity efforts to include disability-owned businesses and is tracking Tier 2 supplier engagement.

This top score results directly from Avangrid’s 2025 Accessibility Project. These are structured around four key workstreams:

  • Employment Practices: Enhancing self-ID campaigns, recruiter training, and candidate interview accommodations.
  • Enterprise-Wide Access: Strengthening American with Disabilities Act compliance, tracking accommodation metrics, and emergency preparedness.
  • Equal Opportunity: Expanding partnerships, mentoring programs, and centralized accommodation funding.
  • Supplier Program Expansion: Increasing engagement with disability-owned businesses and aligning with corporate responsibility goals.
