Key insights from the 2025 Healthcare Data Quality Report include:

• 68% rated the quality of their own patient data as “mixed” or “poor”
• Provider burnout is rising, tied to the increasing volume of external patient data being integrated into systems
• 70% cited limited time and resources as key barriers to improving data quality

Data quality remains a persistent, high-priority issue across the industry. We continue to hear concerns about the accuracy and reliability of exchanged patient data, which is why we’re encouraged by early results from the PIQI framework. It’s helping us take a more objective look at the quality of patient information.
