Nate Morris, Chairman and CEO of Morris Industries, headlined Liberty University’s CEO Summit 2024 as a keynote speaker, joining an esteemed group of business and faith leaders from across the country. The summit gathered hundreds of executives to discuss the intersection of faith, business, and leadership in today's complex global economy.

Morris took the stage alongside Kevin Creasman, Former President & COO of SC Johnson Wax, and Jack Hollis, Executive Vice President & COO of Toyota North America. The keynote panel, themed "Leadership at the Pinnacle: Insights from America’s Top CEOs," centered on how faith can guide leadership decisions, create purpose-driven organizations, and empower the next generation of leaders.

The Liberty University CEO Summit, held on campus, attracts a distinguished group of CEOs, government officials, and thought leaders. The event provides a platform for discussions on current global opportunities, leadership challenges, and emerging industry trends. Morris, known for his strong commitment to faith-based leadership, highlighted how values like integrity, service, and humility have shaped his path as an entrepreneur and civic leader.

Speaking on the panel, Morris emphasized the importance of purpose-driven leadership in today’s business landscape. “It is an honor to share my journey at Liberty University, a place that deeply understands the importance of integrating faith into leadership,” said Morris. “As CEOs, we must not only drive growth and innovation but also lead in ways that reflect our core values. During the panel, Morris shared his experience in leading Morris Industries in addition to his entrepreneurial journey of founding and scaling one of America’s largest waste companies from humble beginnings. He also underscored the critical need for businesses to invest in initiatives that protect and uplift America’s hardworking families, particularly in sectors like risk management and insurance, which his company recently expanded into through the acquisition of Republic Financial.

The panel also explored topics such as balancing profitability with social responsibility, the role of faith in navigating economic uncertainty, and the importance of mentoring the next generation of leaders.
