Federman & Sherwood Investigates Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center for Data Breach

The law firm of Federman & Sherwood has initiated an investigation into Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (“Fred Hutch”) with respect to their recent data breach. Between November 19, 2023, and November 25, 2023, Fred Hutch experienced an unauthorized cybersecurity incident on their network. Upon discovery, Fred Hutch immediately launched an investigation into the incident. After a full review of the compromised data, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center determined that certain individuals sensitive and personal information was accessed. On December 20, 2023, Fred Hutch being mailing notification letters to patients they believe may have been affected.
