A resident of Vineland, Dr. Hermanson is an experienced nurse leader who brings passion and expertise to her role as a health system trustee. She currently serves as an adjunct clinical instructor for Rowan College of South Jersey; a surveyor for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care; and as administrator for an ambulatory care center in Vineland. Hermanson is the recipient of several awards, including Becker’s ASC Review “Ten Administrators to Know” and serves on the Board for the New Jersey State Nurses Association, (NJSNA) Region 5.

“As a clinician and nurse educator, I have seen firsthand the impact of providing compassionate, quality and accessible care – and doing just that is at the core of Inspira’s mission and its work in South Jersey every day,” said Hermanson. “I look forward to joining the visionary team at Inspira to help further drive superior care for our community.”

Shevlin, a well-respected leader in the health care technology space, brings over three decades of experience to his role as an Inspira Health trustee. He currently serves as the Northeast Sales Director of Pharma & Life Sciences at Microsoft, and previously worked at multinational tech company Intel. Shevlin is a trustee of the New Jersey Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and a recipient of several recognitions and awards over the years.

“Health care and technology go hand in hand, accelerating the pace of change within the overall industry. I’ve watched Inspira continue to evolve alongside these industry changes, and I’m honored to now join its Board and bring my background, at the intersection of health and tech, to further propel the health system into the future,” said Shevlin.

These new trustees follow in the footsteps of Pam Clark and Dante Germano, who collectively served on Inspira’s Network Board for more than four decades. Clark dedicated more than 30 years of service to the Underwood-Memorial Hospital and Inspira Boards, imparting a wealth of experience and knowledge to the organization. Throughout her tenure, she held numerous prestigious roles, including Gala Chair for multiple years and secretary of both the Network and Hospital Boards. Additionally, Germano contributed immensely during his 12-year tenure, serving as the Finance Chair on the Inspira Network Board for many years. Germano’s skill set and leadership were invaluable for the development and growth of the Inspira network.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Pam and Dante for their unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions during their tenure on the Board. Their generosity, expertise and compassion have made a lasting impact on our organization, and we are indebted to them for their service,” said Amy Mansue, President & CEO of Inspira Health. “As we welcome Melissa and Mike to our organization, we look forward to the contributions they will make in their new positions.”
