ITEM 8.01 Other Events
On June 29, 2007, Pentair, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the jury in the retrial of the lost profits portion of the previously disclosed Horizon litigation awarded a verdict on June 28, 2007 against its subsidiary, Essef Corporation. The jury awarded the plaintiff, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Inc., $15.2 million for claimed lost profits in 1994 and 1995. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
