Item 8.01 Other Events
On September 23, 2014, HomeTrust Bancshares, Inc., the parent company of HomeTrust Bank, issued a press release announcing the Bank's plan to unify its current seven partner bank divisions under one name -- HomeTrust Bank. The partner bank divisions of Tryon Federal Bank, Shelby Savings Bank, Home Savings Bank, Industrial Federal Bank, Rutherford County Bank and Cheryville Federal Bank will transition to the HomeTrust Bank brand name effective September 30, 2014. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
