On January 24, 2006, Animas Corporation disseminated a press release announcing that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 has expired with respect to the proposed acquisition of Animas by Emerald Merger Sub, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Johnson & Johnson.
