PART III — NARRATIVE
State below in reasonable detail why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, V-SAR, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period.
In preparation of the quarterly filing of Teucrium Commodity Trust (the "Trust") for the period ended June 30, 2014, Teucrium Trading, LLC, the Sponsor of the Trust, is evaluating certain accounting matters and has identified certain presentation issues for expenses in the statements of operations of the Trust and the respective funds each comprising a series of the Trust (the Teucrium Corn Fund, the Teucrium Natural Gas Fund, the Teucrium WTI Crude Oil Fund, the Teucrium Soybean Fund, the Teucrium Sugar Fund, the Teucrium Wheat Fund, and the Teucrium Agricultural Fund). As a result, the Trust is unable to file the Second Quarter Report by the prescribed date of August 11, 2014 without unreasonable effort or expense. The Trust expects to file its Form 10-Q as soon as practicable and intends to do so within the five-day extension period afforded by Rule 12b-25 under the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
