Item 8.01    Other Events.

On May 5, 2016, City National Bank (“City”), a subsidiary of City Holding Company (NASDAQ: CHCO) issued a news release announcing that City had been named a Five-Diamond Employer by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.
