Filed herewith is A.G. Edwards, Inc.’s announcement regarding the formation of A.G. Edwards Mortgage, LLC, a joint venture between A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc. (the “Company”) and Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, a division of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as contained in a press release dated August 16, 2006. The joint venture will originate, process and fund mortgage loans for the Company’s clients.
