Item 2.05 | Costs Associated with Exit or Disposal Activities. |
In October 2015, the Board of Directors of Limelight Networks, Inc. (“the Company”) approved a restructuring and reduction in force plan of 44 employees, approximately 8% of the Company’s global workforce. The restructuring is part of an overall plan to create a more efficient, competitive, and profitable Company.
The Company estimates it will incur restructuring charges of approximately $1.0 million in the quarter ended December 31, 2015, comprised of the write-off of intangible assets of $0.5 million and cash payments for severance costs of approximately $0.5 million.
