(b) Effective August 19, 2016, given the strategic importance of international franchising and development to Famous Dave’s, Abe Ruiz, the Company’s Chief Operating Officer, transitioned from the head of operations to focus on international franchise sales and development. Earlier this year the Company opened its first location in Abu Dhabi, UAE and later this year two additional locations are scheduled to open in the UAE. Additionally, the Company opened its fourth location in Puerto Rico in June 2016. As a part of this, Mr. Ruiz will work with other executive officers to ensure the seamless internal transition of his operating responsibilities.
