On May 24, 2007, Garen Staglin was elected to the Board of Directors of Bottomline Technologies (de), Inc. as a Class III director. On May 31, 2007, the Company issued a press release announcing Mr. Staglin’s election to the Board of Directors. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1
