Smith & Nephew Announces FDA Panel Hearing for Hip Resurfacing Product
18 August 2005
Smith & Nephew plc (LSE: SN, NYSE: SNN), the global medical technology business,
announces that it has been notified by the US Food and Drug Administration that
its Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Devices Panel intends to review the Pre Market
Approval Application for the Birmingham Hip Resurfacing implant system on
8 September 2005.
