State below in reasonable detail the reasons why Forms 10-K, 20-F, 11-K, 10-Q, 10-D, N-SAR, N-CSR, or the transition report or portion thereof, could not be filed within the prescribed time period.
Barrett Business Services, Inc. (the "Company") is not able to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2016, because its independent registered public accounting firm has yet not completed its audit of the Company’s financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2015, including the restatement of the Company’s financial statements for the years ended December 31, 2014 and 2013. Once the audit is complete, the Company’s independent registered public accounting firm will commence its review of the Company’s financial statements for the period ended March 31, 2016.
