Item 1.02 Termination of a Material Definitive Agreement.
On October 4, 2017, EQT Corporation (the Company or EQT) issued notices of redemption for all of its outstanding (i) $200 million aggregate principal amount 5.15% Notes due 2018 (the 5.15% Notes) that were issued under that certain Indenture, dated as of July 1, 1996, between the Company, as successor to Equitable Resources, Inc., and The Bank of New York Mellon, as Trustee (the Trustee), as supplemented by that certain Officers Declaration, dated as of February 20, 2003, and that certain First Supplemental Indenture, dated as of June 30, 2008, and (ii) $500 million aggregate principal amount 6.50% Senior Notes due 2018 (the 6.50% Notes and together with the 5.15% Notes, the Notes) that were issued under that certain Indenture, dated as of March 18, 2008, between the Company, as successor to Equitable Resources, Inc., and the Trustee, as supplemented by that certain First Supplemental Indenture, dated as of March 18, 2008, and that certain Second Supplemental Indenture, dated as of June 30, 2008. All outstanding Notes were redeemed on November 3, 2017.
