Item 8.01 — Other Events
Cyanotech has experienced a severe interruption in Spirulina production caused by dilution and overflow from recent torrential rains during a period when the company was re-inoculating its Spirulina ponds to improve yield. The facility experienced an unprecedented seven inches of rain in three days. With the rains subsiding, the company has taken aggressive action to complete re-inoculation, correct dilution and overflow problems, and restore production. The company expects to be back in full Spirulina production in January 2008.
