- K-Culture Mega Festival for All Generations: From K-POP to Fashion, Food, and Marathon
The Gangnam-gu (Mayor Cho Sung-myung) district in Seoul said that it will host the 2025 Gangnam Festival from September 25 to October 3 at venues across the district, including COEX, Yeongdong-daero, and Maru Park in celebration of its 50th anniversary. Now in its 14th year, the festival returns as an expanded K-Culture celebration that brings together music, fashion, cuisine, and sports.
This year’s festival presents ten signature programs that will bring a festive spirit to all of Gangnam:

Main Events at COEX
The festival begins on September 26 with the Opening Ceremony & Vision Proclamation at COEX East Square. On the 27th, the Yeongdong-daero K-POP Concert will feature leading artists including god, BTOB, and SF9, followed on the 28th by the HEY Gangnam Family Concert, spotlighting iconic stars from the 1990s.
At COEX Artium, the Gangnam Fashion Festa (September 26–28) will highlight the latest in K-Fashion, while the Gourmet Tour & K-Culture Zone (September 25–28) at K-POP Square will showcase international cuisine alongside cultural experiences.
Special Programs across Gangnam
From September 25 to 28, Gangnam Station, Garosu-gil, and Apgujeong Rodeo Street will host Fringe Performances featuring Jultagi (tightrope walking) performance, busking, and dance covers. On September 27, Maru Park in Gaepo-dong will stage the Maru Park Music Picnic. The program then moves to Jamwon Hangang Park on October 2 for the KBS Open Concert, before wrapping up on October 3 with the HEY Gangnam International Peace Marathon, expected to draw about 10,000 participants, and the HEY Bongeunsa Temple Music Concert.
Expanding International Visitor Participation
In partnership with the Korea Tourism Organization and global platform Trip.com, Gangnam-gu has introduced exclusive hotel and day tour packages for international visitors, with special merchandise available for early bookings. For travelers already in Korea, walk-in zones will be set up across programs for easier and more convenient participation.
The Yeongdong-daero K-POP Concert will also be streamed live worldwide on KBS World’s YouTube channel.
