Joyce University Named a 2025 Top Workplace by The Salt Lake Tribune

Sustained employee satisfaction secures Joyce University’s place on the Top Workplaces list for a third consecutive year.

For the third year running, Joyce University of Nursing and Health Sciences has been recognized as a “Utah Top Workplaces” honoree by The Salt Lake Tribune. The award is based entirely on employee feedback collected through a third-party survey, and highlights the university’s ongoing commitment to building a supportive and empowering work environment.

“This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from our employees,” said Josh Knotts, interim President and CEO of Joyce University. “We want Joyce to be an environment where our team can do the best and most meaningful work of their careers. Empowering our passionate employees to pursue our bold vision is central to our mission of creating the university our students and community deserve. We’re honored to be recognized for the third year in a row, and even more proud of the culture we’re building here at Joyce.”

Joyce University prioritizes employee well-being through a holistic approach that addresses nine key dimensions: physical, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, social, occupational, financial, environmental and cultural. Its Total Rewards program includes self-directed time off, fitness and mental health initiatives, and robust financial wellness support designed to enhance employee satisfaction and development.

The Salt Lake Tribune’s “Top Workplaces” awards rely exclusively on anonymous employee feedback, offering an authentic and credible assessment of workplace culture directly from those experiencing it every day.

“At Joyce, we do our best to create a workplace that supports the whole person,” said Ann Johnson, VP of People and Culture at Joyce University. “Our Total Rewards approach is just one way we meet our employees where they are professionally, personally, and everywhere in between. Being named a Top Workplace again is a meaningful affirmation that those efforts are making a difference and resonating with our employees.”

The latest honor adds to a growing list of recognitions. This year, Joyce University was also named USA Today 2025 “Top Workplace” and recognized by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s “Best Companies to Work For” in 2024. The 2025 Top Workplace designation by The Salt Lake Tribune was the institution’s third year receiving the honor.
