Founding Member of Goldman’s Family Office Business Departs to Launch Placement Agency focused on Raising Capital from the World’s Largest Family Offices

Former Goldman Sachs Managing Director Elise Bal has launched Bal Strategic Partners, a placement agency focused on raising capital from top institutional family offices.

Bal was at Goldman Sachs for over 15 years and was one of the founding members of Goldman’s Apex Family Office team. At Goldman, Bal connected Goldman proprietary deal flow including direct investments, co-investments and funds with institutional family offices with over $1bn in net worth. Bal also founded and led Goldman’s Apex family office effort in Latin America.
