District invites educators to explore teaching opportunities and connect with school leaders.

FLORENCE, SOUTH CAROLINA / ACCESS Newswire / February 6, 2026 / Florence 1 Schools is pleased to announce its 2026 Teacher Recruitment Fair, a special opportunity for aspiring educators, experienced teachers, and individuals with a four-year degree to explore rewarding career pathways within the district.

The recruitment fair will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Poynor School of Healthcare Innovation, located at 301 S. Dargan Street in Florence, South Carolina. The event is open to certified educators, recent graduates, soon-to-be graduates, and individuals with a bachelor's degree interested in entering the teaching profession through Florence 1 Schools' TeachFlorence1 alternate route to certification.

Florence 1 Schools is one of only three districts in South Carolina to offer its own district-based alternate certification program, expanding access to the classroom for talented professionals from a wide range of academic and career backgrounds.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet district leaders, learn about current and upcoming teaching opportunities, and gain insight into what makes Florence 1 Schools a student-centered district focused on innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
