Known across the East End as the booming voice behind countless renditions of the National Anthem, singer and civic leader Mark “MK” McLaughlin is hitting the road—one anthem, one crowd, one hometown at a time.
This summer, McLaughlin is touring Long Island with a mission: to honor America, amplify local pride, and remind communities what it means to stand united under one flag. Dubbed the “Voice of Honor” Tour, his appearances have spanned high-profile events including the Dan’s Papers Power List of the East End, where he was spotlighted as the event’s official “Voice of Honor,” as well as Citi Field for a New York Mets game, Barclays Center for the NY Liberty, and a series of festivals, races, and civic gatherings from Riverhead to Baiting Hollow.
“This isn’t a concert tour,” McLaughlin says. “It’s a heartbeat tour. It’s about lifting people up, using your voice for something bigger than yourself—and reminding every kid, every vet, every person watching, that they matter.”
Born and raised in Riverhead, MK isn’t just a performer—he’s a deeply rooted community advocate. As Chief of Staff to Assemblywoman Jodi Giglio, Chair of the Riverhead Anti-Bias Task Force, a local music educator, and emcee for events across the East End, McLaughlin uses his talents to serve in every sense of the word.
His performances are often accompanied by young students, community leaders, or individuals with special needs—standing proudly by his side as a reminder that inclusion is patriotic.
More stops are expected through the rest of the summer, with updates available on MK’s social platforms.
